This privacy policy explains how personal data is processed on martinstahl.eu. It follows the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

Email: anfrage@martinstahl.eu

For the full legal details, see the Impressum.

2. Hosting

This website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich (Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany). The provider processes data on our behalf as a processor under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. All servers are located in Germany.

When you visit this website, the hosting provider automatically collects and stores technical information that your browser transmits (see "Server log files" below). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and reliable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3. Server log files

Each time this website is accessed, the server automatically records information in log files. This includes:

  • the requested page or file,
  • browser type and version,
  • the operating system used,
  • the referrer URL,
  • the anonymised or shortened IP address,
  • the date and time of the request.

This data is not merged with other data sources and is used solely to ensure operation, security and troubleshooting. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log data is stored only for as long as necessary for these purposes and then deleted.

4. Contact form

If you use the contact form on the contact page, the details you provide — your name, email address, subject and message — are transmitted to us and sent to our email inbox so that we can process your enquiry. Providing a name, email address and message is required to answer your request; the subject is optional.

  • Purpose: processing and responding to your enquiry.
  • Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), confirmed via the checkbox in the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries as well as, where applicable, steps taken prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
  • Retention: we keep the data until your enquiry has been dealt with. Where statutory retention periods apply, storage is limited accordingly. You may ask us to delete the data at any time (see "Your rights").

You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by sending an informal message to the email address above.

To reduce spam, the form uses a hidden "honeypot" field. No data from this field is stored or evaluated beyond automatically discarding submissions identified as spam.

5. Contacting us by email

If you contact us directly by email, the data you send (including your email address and message) is stored for the purpose of processing your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and, where your message relates to a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

6. Fonts

This website uses the "Inter" and "Playfair Display" fonts, which are hosted locally on our own server. No connection to Google servers or any other third party is established when loading the fonts, and no data about you is transmitted to them for this purpose.

7. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption for all connections. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the "https://" prefix in the address bar of your browser.

8. External links

This website contains links to external services and profiles, including LinkedIn, a Mastodon profile and an appointment-booking service. When you follow such a link and interact with these services, their respective privacy policies apply. We have no influence over the data processing carried out by these providers.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR) — to obtain information about the data we hold about you.

  • Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR) — to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3) GDPR) — with effect for the future.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in section 1.

10. Right to lodge a complaint
